In case of this process, the entire surface of the metallic object is treated with the paint and some of the properties of the metal surface get preserved. In both the processes, there is an important role of an air compressor in both the processes.

 Air compressor ensures that the powder coating or the spray paint adheres properly to the metallic surface. The epoxy powder coating or the paint comes out smoothly and the metallic surface gets protected from abrasive particles, rust, moisture etc. An air compressor ensures that the metal stays smooth and does not get damaged when it is subjected to constant vibrations and pressure.

Firstly, the paint must have a high adhesive force if you want it to stick to your chosen surface for a long period of time. Secondly, you should decide whether you want the paint to be transparent or opaque. Opaque paint gives a clear and shiny surface to the objects that are coated; while opaque paint gives an earthy look to the metals that are being coated. Also, you should choose the color that matches the metal.
